Charles Dall papers, 1874-1899.

The collection contains business and family letters, 1895-1899, accounts, photographs, and advertisements. The letters from his family in Germany are in German, those from Mexico and many from Texas are in Spanish. The accounts are personal and business, 1874-1895, and business and advertising cards (some from Savannah), and leaflets, receipts, and inventory of equipment in Dall's beer parlor and garden in New Laredo, photographs, a pamphlet on capital and labor (1874) and a travel guide to Italy (1894-1895).

Charles Dall (1849-1899), a native of Denmark, was manager of the Savannah office of Anheuser-Busch Brewing Association from 1896 to his death in 1899. Before coming to Savannah he operated a beer parlor and garden in New Laredo, Mexico and in Laredo, Texas, where he was associated with the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Association.
